Just create to create. Create to remind yourself you're still alive. Make stuff to inspire others to make something too. Create to learn a bit more about yourself.

- Frederick Terral -

Here's what we think you need if you are a New Scrapbooker:

  1. Sharp scissors - EK Success Cutter Bee (super sharp and nice size)
  2. Adhesive - Tombow Mono Adhesive (safe for photos and papers)
  3. Cardstock - Bazzill (perfect for creating mats for your photos)
  4. Stickers - Alphabets (helpful if your handwriting is not good enough for a title)
  5. Embellishments - Buttons (these can be used in various patterns for borders, journal dots, polka dots)
  6. Pen - Any thin point black marker such as Marvy

If you are an Intermediate Scrapbooker, we recommend:

  1. Trimmer - Creative CutTrimmer by Crafters Companion (multiple design blades available)
  2. Adhesive - Glue Dots (Allows you to adhere unusual embellishments to your pages)
  3. Cardstock - Patterns (no specific brand although Cosmo Cricket seems to be the most popular with us)
  4. Stickers - Xyron 520 (so you can make your own)
  5. Embellishments - Heidi Swapp, chipboard, bling
  6. Markers - Zig Memory Writers

For the advanced scrapbooker, we hope you have the following in your arsenal of tools:

  1. Xyron 900 or 1200 to create stickers for larger items.
  2. Zutter Bind It All book binding machine to create your own mini albums
  3. Clip It Up to organize all you embellishments
  4. Making Memories Desktop Lazy Susan Carousel to organize all you hand tools on your desktop
  5. Totally Cool Tote for your tools that go cropping with you
  6. Digital Die Cutting Machine - get a Cricut if you are not good with computers.  We love the Pazzles Inspiration for easy to use software and variety of what you can do with it - create stamps, die cuts, engrave, and draw.
  7. Digital Images - Tim Holtz Distressables series of CD images
