The sailing here can be great and the sea is only 100m away from our front door. We are open Monday - Saturday 9:30-5:30 and Sundays 9:30 - 1:30/4:30 (depending on the time of year.) We can often arrange demo kit for you to try but please call in advance.

Board-worx.com was set up in 2004 to replace the outdated Whitstable Windsurfing website. This is our second version of Board-worx.com website and we are always modifying our site to keep up with the latest web technology's.

I have been here from day one, that was back in the day, 1982, struth what the hell am I going to do when I grow up. I started with a passion for windsurfing and progressed through south eastern series division I and II racing and then pushed on in to speed sailing where I got myself in to the Guinness book of records for a years with a good friend Rod, two's up on a windurfer. After a chance meeting with Jason Furness and Andy Preswick (the current designer of the latest Flexifoil kites) who had come down to see if they could get a surf board going with a air ram sky tiger kite, I was instantly hooked on this new crazy sport, and Whitstable windsurfing started with another product line, Kitesurfing. Kitesurfing now has become a very large part of my life and even taking the upper hand over windsurfing, not to say I still love a blast on a board when the conditions are great, really it is any excuse to get wet.
