Terms & conditions

Payment Policies

  • Please read the email we send you at the end of your successful auction, which will detail the payment process for your purchased item.
  • All winning bidders should proceed to our SSL secure payment system. We accept PayPal and bank deposit, and you can fund your PayPal account from a variety of sources, including major credit cards.
  • We are committed to assisting you with your transaction in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Customers with questions, concerns, or disputes should email us-prior to rendering eBay feedback-at orders@strawberryhills.com.au.
  • Upon deposit, you must leave your checkout order number with us. We cannot send your items in the event we cannot identify your successful payment via this order number.
  • Payments must be completed by or before five (5) days of the conclusion date of the sale.
  • When your item is sent, an email with package tracking information will be sent to you.

Shipping Policies

  • If our postage calculator is not able to calculate your shipping costs, please email us at orders@strawberryhills.com.au prior to placing a bid. This does not apply to items associated with flat-rate postal fees.
  • Before bidding, make sure the shipping address contained in your eBay account is correct. Bianca's of Strawberry Hills will ship your item to the shipping address entered at checkout through our secure checkout system
  • Insurance: for the first $200 of an item's value, the insurance cost is $7. For every additional $100 beyond this first $200, the cost is $3.50. For example, if an item's value for insurance purposes is $400, the insurance cost would be $14. If you elect not to pay or purchase insurance, we cannot be held liable for the condition of the item in transit, including damage, theft, or loss
  • Consolidate items and save! We offer a program to consolidate shipping items in order to save you money. You can save $8.50 in shipping costs on all items beyond the first item. The highest postage cost is charged in full, and shipping costs for items beyond this first item are discounted in the amount of $8.50. For example, if you purchase two items with $20 shipping costs and choose to consolidate shipping, you will pay $31.50 total in shipping ($20 + $11.50).
  • Sorry-we cannot arrange for item pickups under any circumstances.
  • Unclaimed items returned to Bianca's of Strawberry Hills must have their postage repaid. Any such items with unpaid postage cannot be re-sent by us.
  • Bianca's of Strawberry Hills uses both Australia Post eParcel Services and Toll Ipec for its shipping.
  • After-hours delivery or weekend deliveries are not available. All deliveries will take place during normal business hours.
  • When your item is sent, an email with package tracking information will be sent to you.

General Policies

  • The bidder/customer (hereinafter "you" or "your") must read these Bianca's of Strawberry Hills Terms and Conditions in their entirety. You must agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to placing a bid or conducting a transaction with Bianca's of Strawberry Hills (hereinafter "we," "us," or "our").
  • By placing a bid with Bianca's of Strawberry Hills, you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • You must agree to each and every sale condition posted with a Bianca's of Strawberry Hills item prior to placing a bid.
  • Bianca's of Strawberry Hills is bound by and is fully compliant with the trading rules established by eBay and also by the New South Wales (or "NSW") Office of Fair Trading.
  • Bianca's of Strawberry Hills conducts its business in the state of New South Wales. Transactions are conducted in New South Wales, and products originate from New South Wales. Thus, the laws of the State of New South Wales govern our transactions.
  • Statement of governing law: The laws of the State of New South Wales govern this agreement and the transaction between you and Bianca's of Strawberry Hills. For any proceeding, disagreement, or action relating to this agreement, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. You waive any objection to conduct any proceeding, disagreement, or action relating to this agreement outside of the jurisdiction of New South Wales. Any action relating to this agreement originating from a jurisdiction outside of New South Wales would be considered a breach of these Terms and Conditions and could be deemed to be a fraudulent action. Any transaction disagreements relating to your transaction with us will take place in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
  • We are committed to assisting you with your bid and transaction in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Customers with questions, concerns, or disputes should email us-prior to rendering eBay feedback-at orders@strawberryhills.com.au.
  • Bianca's of Stawberry Hills excludes liability for all consequential loss arising from use of any Products purchased by you from ebay, including liability for loss of income, loss of profits, loss of a contract, data loss, loss of goodwill, loss of potential business, or any damage to personal property or any personal injury, whether direct or indirect, of any kind, unless:
    (a) such loss could have been expected to result from a failure by Bianca's of Strawberry Hills to meet a consumer guarantee and any such loss was reasonably foreseeable; or
    (b) where Bianca's Of Strawberry Hills is the manufacturer or importer of the relevant Product, such loss has arisen due to the relevant Product having a safety defect within the meaning of section 9 of the Australian Consumer Law and further that none of the defences established by section 142 of the Australian Consumer Law apply to the relevant Product/s.

Warranty Policies

  • Items you purchase from us via eBay internet auction are subject to the laws and regulations established specifically for goods purchased through internet auction by the New South Wales Office of Fair Trading. According to the Office of Fair Trading, "Implied warranties generally do not apply to goods purchased at auction." The Office of Fair Trading goes on to state: "[New South Wales] and Commonwealth consumer protection legislation generally does not apply to goods purchased at auction, including internet auctions."
  • The following are disclaimed specifically by Bianca's of Strawberry Hills: fitness for particular purpose, implied warranty of title, non-infringement, and merchantability.
  • Warranty varies from product to product. For specific item warranty information, please refer to the listing for that specific item. An item is sold "as is" if no warranty information is stated.

  • For products considered "Dead on Arrival (or DOA)," "Incorrectly Shipped," or "Damaged in Transit," you must return any such products to Bianca's of Strawberry Hills by or before seven (7) days of receiving the product.
  • Bianca's of Strawberry Hills reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund items at our discretion in the manner we see fit.
  • The following reasons are not acceptable reasons for exchange, refund, or replacement of your item: you have changed your mind; you made the wrong choice; or you are simply unhappy with your purchase despite the item being fit for purpose.
  • Additionally, Bianca's of Strawberry Hills cannot accept products for return based upon incompatibility issues (especially as they relate to computer and electronic technology). We make no compatibility guarantees, and we cannot advise customers on compatibility issues. You are advised to thoroughly research items before bidding/purchasing. We cannot entertain exceptions.
  • Physical damage, attempted repair, product tampering, and intentional or unintentional misuse are events that may prevent a product from being accepted for refund, return, exchange, or replacement.
  • Items are inspected before being dispatched, and are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship or quality. Any damaged item you receive must be considered "Damaged in Transit." Items with the "Damaged in Transit" designation cannot be accepted for return, except in the case where postal insurance was purchased for the item or items.
  • Warranties are non-transferable, and do not transfer with ownership. Warranty claims must be generated from you if you are the original purchaser of the item under warranty.
  • Statement of governing law: The laws of the State of New South Wales govern this agreement and the transaction between you and Bianca's of Strawberry Hills. For any proceeding, disagreement, or action relating to this agreement, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Returns Policies

  • The following reasons are not acceptable reasons for exchange, refund, or replacement of your item: you have changed your mind; you made the wrong choice; or you are simply unhappy with your purchase despite the item having no defects in quality or workmanship.
  • Additionally, Bianca's of Strawberry Hills cannot accept products for return based upon incompatibility issues (especially as they relate to computer and electronic technology). We make no compatibility guarantees, and we cannot advise customers on compatibility issues. You are advised to thoroughly research items before bidding/purchasing. We cannot entertain exceptions.

  • We reserve the right to refuse the return, exchange, or refund of any item.
  • Items are inspected before being dispatched, and are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship or quality. Any damaged item you receive must be considered "Damaged in Transit." Items with the "Damaged in Transit" designation cannot be accepted for return, except in the case where postal insurance was purchased for the item or items.
  • Physical damage, attempted repair, product tampering, and intentional or unintentional misuse are events that may prevent a product from being accepted for refund, return, exchange, or replacement.
  • Any returns must be associated with an RA, or Return Authorization, number. We cannot accept any items returned without an RA number. We must receive a return with RA number by or before fourteen (14) days from the issuance of the RA number. To obtain an RA number, you may email us at orders@strawberrhills.com.au.  In addition you must provide the tracking number immediately as soon as the item has left your possession.
  • Postage for returned items with RA numbers must be paid at your own cost. Should the item be found faulty this postage cost will be returned.
  • We do not accept Cash on Delivery (COD) returns under any circumstance.
  • Only items deemed to be "Dead on Arrival (or DOA)" are eligible for return. Bianca's of Strawberry Hills reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund items at our discretion in the manner we see fit.
  • Return items with RA numbers are thoroughly tested to confirm "Dead on Arrival" status or any other reason for return provided by you. Returned items that are confirmed in this manner will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion in the manner we see fit.
  • If a returned item is tested and revealed to be without fault and not "Dead on Arrival," Bianca's of Strawberry Hills must charge the buyer/returner a mandatory $25 administrative service fee. Buyer/returner is then responsible for all postage fees associated with the return of the item to them. We cannot entertain exceptions.
  • Items must be in original packaging, in "new" condition and not used, with original accessories, and in a condition for resale to be accepted for return, refund, or exchange.
  • Any failure to obtain a proper Return Authorization (RA) number and/or failure to abide by all return sending instructions can result in our refusal to accept your return, and all return options being rendered void. In the case of a return deemed void, only a same item exchange, at customer expense, can be offered. Returns can also be made void for the following reasons: failure to return item in original packaging, damaged parts or packaging, failure to return item with original accessories (including packaging and user manuals/paperwork), and failure to provide sufficient protective packaging for transport, such that the item arrives to us in a damaged condition.
  • You should allow fifteen (15) business days for all RA item processing and testing, counted from the day we receive your return. Bianca's of Strawberry Hills will email you once this process is complete.
  • In rare cases, we can only refund you in the same amount of what we received for the particular transaction. This refund amount is calculated by subtracting Bianca's of Strawberry Hills eBay fees from the total eBay item purchase price (which excludes postage).
  • We cannot refund or reimburse you for any postage fees you incur with your return transaction. We cannot entertain exceptions.
  • In rare cases, incorrect delivery of items may occur. In this unlikely event, the customer will be required to return the incorrectly shipped item back to us before any replacement item will be organised. For questions regarding incorrect delivery, please email us at orders@strawberryhills.com.au.
  • Bianca's of Strawberry Hills uses business couriers. Under our agreement with these couriers, weekend and after hours pickups cannot be arranged.
