Currently the goods which are for sale in this catalogue are only sold for delivery to a UK mainland destination. All goods are available for export but the shipping charge will increase considerably. For an accurate quote please contact us before purchasing.

Shipping And Handling Contribution

We believe that ordering online shouldn't have any nasty sting in the tail and as such we make every effort to keep the cost of delivery to a minimum. All goods must be inspected for content, defects and damage at the time of delivery. Claims for damaged goods will not be accepted after the goods have been signed for by the customer. In the event that the delivery is made by a third party such as a carrier, notification must be made to the carrier immediately and to us within 24 hours. Claims for damaged goods can not be accepted once the goods have been installed or used.

Orders from customers in Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man may, in most cases, be subject to additional shipping and handling fees available by calling 01633 244555.

Delivery timings are intended as a guide only and are based on items being in stock. Non-stock items may take longer to deliver.

Delivery Schedule

Guide despatch information is shown against each product and orders are dispatched when the complete order is ready. The times shown reflect the normal course of processing the order, and orders are, in most cases, dispatched for next day delivery. These times are intended as a guide only and are not a guarantee of delivery.

Most boxed items are normally delivered by carrier within two working days.

Whirlpool Baths and larger items are usually delivered using our own transport within 7-10 working days. We will telephone you to arrange a convenient day and time for delivery. Our driver will require assistance off loading baths and if no assistance can be offered, we can arrange for an assistant to travel with the driver, however there may be an additional charge for this.

With the exception of special order items, if we are unable to dispatch the goods within 30 days, the consumer will be informed immediately and will be given the choice of a later delivery date or cancelling the order completely and receiving a full refund of any monies paid. We can not accept any liability for delivery delays howsoever caused.

Whilst we will try our best to deliver your goods as fast as possible we are unable to guarantee any delivery times or dates as delivery companies and suppliers are factors outside of our control. We therefore recommend that you do not finalise a date with your plumber until you have received and inspected all the goods necessary for the installation.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .

Credit/Debit Card Security

When shopping at bathroomexpress at eBay you can be safe in the knowledge that your credit card transactions are secure.

Transactions on this site use Secure socket Layering (SSL) . This encrypts the personal information and card details you enter into code so that they may be securely transmitted over the internet. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Alternatively PayPal is offered as a payment method on all listings. NO surcharge is applicable for any Paypal.

If you are still concerned about the security of issuing your card details on line then it is possible to pay by alternative methods, you can send us your order on-line and we will ring you to take your credit card details.

Guarantee

Most items, unless otherwise indicated, are sold with a one year, return to base warranty. The guarantee on a heated towel rail or radiator is two years for the rail/radiator but where a heating element is supplied it only has the benefit of one year guarantee. Whirlpool baths have the benefit of an extendable on-site two year Parts and Labour warrranty and Most taps have a five year warranty. Privacy Policy

Whirlpool Express (UK) Ltd keep track of the contents of your orders. Information from emails and that you give us at the time of ordering is stored both physically and electronically by ourselves. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not sell, pass on or disclose details of customers to any other parties. With the exception of order status reports, we do not currently make unsolicited contact with customers before or after they have placed an order. Information is retained electronically in order to supply a better service to our returning customers.

In the event that a customer needs to discuss any aspect of information stored by us, he/she should contact our Quality Control manager, Mr Roger Thompson.

Returns Policy

With the exception of goods which are tailor made for the consumer or ordered specially, eg whirlpool baths; baths with special tap hole positions; items marked "special order," and non-stock items procured specifically for the customer, consumers have the right to cancel the contract within 7 working days without reason, the 7 days starting from the day after the goods are received. Any damaged goods must be notified to us on the day of delivery.

For any item to be returned and receive a refund, goods must be returned unused, in perfect re-saleable condition, including original undamaged packaging and with the original delivery note. Refunds will cover the costs of the goods only, and will not include any delivery or collection costs, which will be charged to your credit card. Further delivery charges will be the actual costs of delivery, which depends on the weight of the goods ordered, and in most cases will be higher than the original delivery cost charged on the order.

If a customer intends to make a return they must contact us in writing first, either by letter to 61-62 Lower Dock Street, Newport, NP20 1EF; via fax to 01633 244881 or by e-mail to returns@bathroomexpress.co.uk we will e-mail a return authorization number.

We cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged returns and therefore recommend that the customer uses an insured carrier. The customer is responsible for the cost of any returns and future deliveries.

It is important that you thoroughly inspect any goods you receive at the time of delivery, taking extra care to check for cosmetic damage or blemishes before installing the item, and contact us as soon as possible should you find any fault. We will endeavour to replace or repair any faulty goods as quickly as possible.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints will be acknowledged by writing within 5 working days. A likely timescale for resolving the dispute will be determined and the consumer will be kept informed about progress. The complaints procedure is open to review to ensure that it is working well.
