Payment:
We ask all buyers to checkout as soon as possible after purchase as this keeps administration costs to a minimum and ensures the quickest delivery of your item. We ask customers to complete payment of all items within 7 days. Payment can be made with Paypal, Uncrossed Postal Order, or Cheques . Postal Orders must be left uncrossed and made payable to "TOOL- BARGAINS.CO.UK".
Postage and Handling:
Restrictions and surcharges may be applicable to destinations in the Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey and Isle of Scilly. See Delivery Tab On Listings Information Pages.
For in stock items, your package will normally be dispatched via the Royal Mail, Parcelforce or another carrier, on the same or next business day after cleared payment.Some items must be ordered from suppliers, and will be delivered as soon as possible. If there will be a delay of more that 7 days we will give you the option of cancelling the order for a full refund. Many items will have free UK postal insurance offered when checking out.
Important:
In most cases we add a handling fee on to the cost of postage. This fee includes the cost of: Packaging materials, time, postal losses, labels, and administration, Royal Mail business collection charges, labels and ink. We recommend that buyers always compare the total cost of items not just the purchase cost. If you find any of our competitors charging significantly less (including P&P) for the same item we will always try to match or beat that price.
Postal Options:
We have various postal options available on each item.Once an Invoice has been finalised please choose the method of postage you prefer and pay.
Please Note: Once payment is made it is not possible to alter the postal option selected.
Important - unconfirmed delivery addresses:
If you are planning to ask us to send items to an address other than your own or an unconfirmed address we may ask for an alternative method of payment or identification. In some circumstances we may refuse to send items to unconfirmed addresses. Please contact us before you buy if this applies to you.
Non-Delivery:
Genuine postal losses are rare in the UK. Experience has shown us that in most cases items are returned to us by the Post Office as uncollected when buyers have reported items as undelivered. Please check with your local delivery office before contacting us about non-delivery. Where items are returned to us we will contact you and a further P&P charge will be made before items can be redelivered. If you have not received your order having waited for more than 7 business days after dispatch please email us with your name and the eBay auction number.You must claim within 28 days of the sale in order to make a claim for loss in the post.
Please note that we will not replace lost items until 4 weeks after dispatch (2 weeks for special delivery or signed for services, 6 weeks for international services) has elapsed.
In the case of signed for items it is the responsibilty of the buyer to ensure delivery to a safe delivery address, and once signed for the buyer takes all responsibility for the item.Any items lost AFTER being signed for or of disputed delivery (allegedly signed for fraudulently) must be claimed for from the carrier by the buyer themselves.
Feedback:
We welcome your feedback to let us know your item (s) arrived and that you are satisfied with them. We read every comment and use your views on the product and our service as a method of continuous improvement. Due to the volume of sales our feedback is automated in response to yours. We know this isn't as personal as some customers would like but to answer every feedback we recieve personally would take far too long out of ourworking week.
Cover for postal losses and damage within the UK:
We offer FREE cover against loss or damage in transit for UK buyers. In the event that your item is lost or damaged in the postal system we will replace the item free of charge (see details above). In the event that we are out of stock of that item we may,at our discretion, refund your purchase cost,or replace with another brand of similar or better quality. We may ask for photographs of any damage. For missing items you must wait until 4 weeks after dispatch (2 weeks for special delivery or signed for services, 6 weeks for international services) has elapsed before claiming a replacement product. If the Item subsequently turns up we may ask you to return it to us at our cost.
Important Note:
The postal insurance quoted on listings applies to confirmed UK postal addresses only - please choose Special Delivery or Airsure or ask for a quote for other destinations before buying.
Returns:
Returns are accepted for any reason within 14 days of receipt
Our 14-day returns warantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, unused (with any packaging and shrink-wrap intact)and with the original invoice, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item (excluding p&p charges, or in the case of freepost items, a deduction equivalent to our actual p+p costs).
Faulty items: We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.
To arrange a return, email us here with your comments and include your eBay item number and buyer user ID. If you require a refund we will refund the full purchase costs excluding p+p or a portion of the purchase costs as explained above for freepost items. For faulty products and the purchase cost only for other items. Refunds will be made within 14 working days of receipt of product to the Paypal account or credit card account that you used to pay for the item.
Warranty:
If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, you must notify us within seven days of receipt, we will then arrange to replace the item within the usual timescales as indicated in the terms of delivery.
Hand Tools: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months (14 days in the case of tools used in the hire trade) from the invoice date. Certain tools have consumable parts which are not included in the guarantee, but generally replacement parts for these are available and may be purchased from us.
Power Tools & Air Tools: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months (14 days in the case of tools used in the hire trade) from the invoice date.
All other products: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months (13 days in the case of tools used in the hire trade) from the invoice date.
We do not give cash refunds. If we cannot repair your item we will replace it with an item of equal or greater specification. In order to process your warranty claim we will require a copy of your invoice which will act as your receipt of purchase.
You will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
Fair Wear & Tear
The above warantees do not apply to fair wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or abuse of the products.
Errors and Ommissions:
Errors, or ommissions in listings, due to bugs,software errors,or typographical mistakes, by either Tool-Bargains, Ebay, or third party software and service providers, will not be admissable in law,and will not form part of any contracted sale or service.
