SIZE & ORDERING ADVICE

Please take your time choosing and ordering your garment its colour and size: if in doubt about sizes, please measure a similar item that fits you and use those measurements as a guide.

Before you email us please read our FAQs - Most questions ask for garment measurements, which are on the listing; or can it can be returned?   Yes it can, please read the return details on the listing or here on the shop pages.

Care taken checking your measurements before purchase helps cut down risk of having to return it (see below) and postage costs are kept to a minimum.  Please halve the bust measurement shown to get the armpit to armpit (across chest) measurement.  If you always wear the same size then you should buy that size irrespective of the garment measurements that may be quite a lot more than the standard size which will be due to its style shape fitting etc. You should not buy a different size just because you are buying without trying it on. 

If your usual size is tight you should buy the next size up; if its too loose/big, your best bet is to order the size below. Please read item description and look at the photos carefully, we try to be very clear about the item size, measurements, fitting/shape etc. 

Most photos are high resolution professionally shot using models and a good indication of the garment and colour however there may be very slight colour variations in some shots which are caused by digital flash photography and screen resolution settings.

We check every item making sure it has its buttons, belts and bits to ensure you receive it in perfect condition, correctly labelled and securely packaged.   We are human therefore the odd mistake can happen in which case you should let us know and follow the ebay returns instructions. We sell brand new good quality items (not seconds) with manufacturers tags that are sold in stores throughout Europe and the UK.

RETURNS POSTING/SHIPPING ADVICE

Axlclothing comply with ebay listing rules, the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 and the UK Sale of Goods Act (available on ebay).  Emails are sent throughout for peace of mind.

TO RETURN AN ITEM 
SIMPLY RETURN IT FOR A REFUND (subject to returned item condition*) USING THE EBAY RETURNS PROCEDURE found within ebay Resolution Centre.

A return label is enclosed with the item; buyers pay for return postage (see above). Returns are in accordance with ebay rules and accepted within 14 days of the delivery date and refunds are via Paypal (no cheques issued). 

Please enclose a copy of the Packing Slip or other item ID inside the package.  Please note failure to enclose adequate identification (preferably Packing Slip) may considerably delay the refund.  

EXCHANGES
Return item with ID and exchange request using return address label. You do not need to use ebay returns to return an exchange item, ebay returns is for returns and refunds not returns and exchanges. If you cannot find a size or colour in the ebay shop please email for item number.

*Returned items must be: unworn/unmarked in new condition, carefully folded, securely repackaged, correctly labelled to the Sender/Return address on the Packing Slip or Invoice.  myHermes has the sender address on the label or ebay Returns will let you print the return address.

Advice to ensure returned item is in new condition for a refund 
Do not remove labels until you are sure you are keeping it.  Do not wear it out!  Try it on carefully, don't get make-up, lipstick marks, deodorant marks etc on it.  Hang it up until you decide whether to keep it (if you smoke please hang it somewhere smoke free if possible).  Fold it neatly before putting into a return bag, please do not screw it up into a ball!  Items returned in poor condition will be presumed to have been worn and cannot accepted. 

RECOMENDED OPTIONS FOR SAFE RETURN

1st-2nd Class Recorded Delivery or ordinary package post + Proof of Postage Certificate, always keep Post Office receipts.

RETURNS DURING ROYAL MAIL STRIKE/S OF MORE THAN 5 CONSECUTIVE DAYS
Please use myHermes Delivery Service, you may be able to send a package up to 2kg at a special rate agreed between ebay and myHermes, you enter a code just before their checkout and click 'recalculate'.  Please see myHermes website for full details how to send a package:

All return post/courier/shipping is paid by the buyer.  Axlclothing is not a catalogue/pay on account company and does not pay buyers' return postage.  Post/courier/shipping charges are kept as low as possible and there is no 'handling or restocking fee' for returns as with some internet shops. 

TO ENSURE YOU RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE SAFELY a despatch email is sent out with the courier/post/shipping info and the reference or tracking number if applicable. 

Most cases of non-communication are when the buyer does not receive ebay and/or shop emails, they may go directly into your spam or delete files.  You can avoid this by adding ebay and sales@axlclothing.co.uk as friendly email addresses to your anti-virus protection (sometimes called a 'white list') to accept emails (especially if you do not regularly look in your ebay mailbox). 

UK PACKAGES SENT BY MYHERMES DELIVERY SERVICE 3-5 DAYS DELIVERY DURING ROYAL MAIL UK WIDE STRIKES  MyHermes attempt delivery 3 times.

Royal Mail packages may be left in a 'safe place' with someone in your household or a neighbour but must be signed for, if no-one is home, a redelivery card will be left and you collect from the local sorting office.

PACKAGES SENT BY ROYAL MAIL: have a reference or tracking number you can check on the Royal Mail website www.royalmail.com and/or ask your local sorting office asap.  No responsibility is accepted for non-deliverable/uncollected/lost/stolen packages. 

Packages sent by Royal Mail and not collected from UK and International depots are returned to sender after a certain time (varies from country to country). 

ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY ADDRESS
ou can give an alternative delivery address at the time of payment, however, if you decide to give an alternative address after payment, it may have already gone out, if it has it cannot be recalled. myHermes accept a 'safe place' for delivery but must have a signature for Axlclothing packages. 

If you give an office address, please ensure you have the authority and its safe to do so.  Whoever accepts the package and signs for it has to be trusted to pass it onto you or keep it safe for you.  Please bear in mind that if your company has no-one on Reception, a package could be handed to any available person to accept it on your behalf.  

ROYAL MAIL STRIKES - If Royal Mail strike for more than 3 consecutive days, UK packages are sent by the myHermes Delivery Service, an ebay approved courier service.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RETURN ADVICE (as above plus)
Use a secure shipping method (signed for/trackable) should be used to cover YOUR possible loss.

USA & CANADA  Ship Fedex or USPS with Customs Declaration/Dispatch Note 'Customs Form PS 2976-A' MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED/CROSSED IN BOX 'RETURNED GOODS' e.g. Returned Goods to UK sender (if wrong box crossed US & UK Customs Duty payable by Buyer).  Return shipping is expensive, an option to consider is reselling as new within US/Canada to limit further cost.

International packages are sent by ROYAL MAIL INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR takes 4-10 days depending on destination and distance from international depots.
