AxlClothing has gone from strength to strength since starting in 2006 quickly reaching the dizzy heights of Gold Powerseller by selling a handpicked range year round styles in capes, coats, jackets, capes, macs, basically all outerwear at affordable prices and low p&p (now ebay 'free' p&p). Lots of us would like to dress in designer clothes but the reality is most of us can only afford high street labels but that doesn't mean sacrificing style. Do you wear the same old coat year after year, I've done that too! Can't bear to throw out your favourite jacket but not worn it for donkey's years? Have a clear out, sell your old stuff on ebay or give to the charity shop and use the cash to bring yourself uptodate. Your favourite styles are probably still around, designers constantly revamp the old classic styles we grew up with to bring them bang uptodate and they give you a new lease of life. Buying online is so popular now, we all save hours trudging around the shops, its not a big deal anymore as so much security is built into every aspect of the transactions to safeguard us. Item descriptions are detailed to save time emailing questions about the little things. The photos are mostly professionally taken at photoshoots, although the odd few are still there taken with our digital camera but we're better at it than we used to be.
Quality control is very important and each garment is checked over before despatch. We are only human therefore in some cases the odd faulty item can slip through our net as it can with any produce being sold and we have an excellent returns policy to enable fast resolution. Stock is brand new with tage (not seconds) and direct from trusted designer-manufacturers producing quality garments sold in top retail outlets.
We stock a wide range of sizes usually from UK8 or 10 up to 22 or 24 Plus sizes. Some sizes are much more popular and sell out quickly so some sizes are missing towards the end of their season. If you don't see the size you need, please email as it might be in stock but just not listed.
Most questions can be answered by reading through the shop pages and FAQs but please email from within the ebay mailbox if you need any further advice allowing 2 working days for your email to be dealt with (re-sending email after 2 working days just in case a technical IT problem prevented it arriving).
Its important to check your measurements against those given for the item in the listing and take note of the fitting advice. Its not the end of the world if you do have to return it for another size and it doesn't cost a fortune but its best to try to get it right. Garment measurements and fitting advice is given on each listing but IF YOU ARE NOT STANDARD SIZE, we recommend taking a coat or jacket that fits you well and using those measurements as a guide. Measuring the relevant points e.g. length (from nape neck to hemline), bust (from underneath one armpit across to the other), arms (from top outer seam to sleeve hem) to see if the item in my shop is same or very close. Don't be put off buying clothes online just because you can't try them on especially if you can walk into store and buy your size off the peg without trouble, its no different buying online, its the same items and sizes after all.
