We design and produce our own commemorative covers as well as various series of limited edition photographs each hand signed. Below are the details of the various series we have been involved in over the years.

Third Co-Ordinated JS(CC) Series
Cover series commemorating events, aircraft and aviation related landmarks

The Third Co-Ordinated cover series  started in 1995 with the first cover commemorating the 1995 Biggin Hill International Air Fair. The series was originally produced under the Joint Services Charities Consortium mantle until the consortium disbanded in 2001, and was taken over and released by Aviation Collectables. The series is an interesting mixture of old and new commemorations as well covering a wide range of topics. Various artists have been used, the majority being commissioned from Tony Theobald, but also includes the artwork of artists Brian Petch, Tony Jackson and some using photographs. The series contains a number of mini-series within the main series as listed below :

JS(CC)4,5,10,12&13 ~ Royal Signals Cover Series
JS(CC)17-21 ~ 50th Anniversary of the Belgian Air Force (BAF)
JS(CC)32-35 ~ 50th Anniversary of the United States Air Force (USAF)
JS(CC)37&39 ~ 75th Anniversary of the Italian Air Force (ITAF)
JS(CC)41-50 ~ 80th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF)
JS(CC)56&57 ~ 80th Anniversary of the Polish Air Force (PAF)
JS(CC)68&69 ~ WWII German Jets and Experimental Aircraft
JS(CC)78-100 & 102-109 ~ Battle of Britain Mini Series

The above list gives some idea to some of the topics included in the series, those worthy of note include: JS(CC)28 The Handover of Hong Kong, JS(CC)31 the Official ThrustSSC cover produced in association with Richard Noble, JS(CC)40 617 Dambusters Squadron cover featuring both the Lancaster and

Vulcan, JS(CC)60 The Closure of RAF Manston, JS(CC)61 50th Anniversary of NATO. At present the series is nearing completion as we work towards finishing and releasing those remaining from the Battle of Britain mini-series.

Memorial Flight (MF) Series
Cover series featuring WWII Bomber Command aircraft to raise money for the BBMF/LAA

This series started in 2001 with the first cover commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the First Flight of the Avro Lancaster and is produced in conjunction with the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association, with all artwork being commissioned from the artist Tony Theobald. The remainder of the series will depict aircraft of Bomber Command in many of the important missions of World War II and also commemorates a number of airmen awarded the Victoria Cross whilst serving on Bomber Squadrons. Thus far MF2 portrayed the Augsburg Raid of 1942 where Nettleton won his VC with No 44 Squadron; MF3 pays tribute to the 1,000 Bomber Raids on one of which Manser won a posthumous VC with No 50 Squadron; MF4 commemorates the formation of the elite Pathfinder Force (PFF); MF5 the raid on Essen; MF6 pays homage to the legendary Dams Raid by specially modified Lancasters of No 617 Squadron led by Gibson who was awarded a VC amongst a long list of gallantry medals awarded to the squadron; MF7 marks the first use of Window during the Raid on Hamburg showing No 12 Squadron; MF8 was produced to remember the Raid on Peenemunde to attempt to destroy the threat of the German V-2 Rocket Sites.

Vulcan (VRT) Series
Cover series to raises money for the Vulcan Restoration Trust (VRT) who maintain Avro Vulcan XL426

In this series, so far only two covers have been produced, one for the 50th Anniversary of the first flight of the Avro Vulcan and one to mark the 40th Anniversary of the first flight of Avro Vulcan XL426 both in conjunction with the Vulcan Restoration Trust. The VRT1 Black Buck version has been signed by the three Vulcan pilots who flew the Black Buck Missions, with another version signed by the last Vulcan Commanding Officers.

AV 600 Squadrons of the Royal Air Force Series
Cover series which features RAF Squadrons and their aircraft

Over the last decade we have producing a new series to pay tribute to the RAF Squadrons and have been commissioning Ross Wardle, who used to paint the box artwork for Matchbox kits, to produce artwork for us on this series of covers. Each cover depicts an aircraft of the RAF and the squadron with which it served. There are three sub-division of this series although it is very much a mix and match, buy what you like series:

Volume 1 – Aircraft from World War II eg No 109 Squadron DH Mosquito, No 74 Squadron Supermarine Spitfire
Volume 2 – Aircraft from 1946-onwards eg No 56 Squadron EE/BAC Lightning, No 32 (The Royal) Squadron BAe146
Volume 3 – Aircraft from operational squadrons eg No II (AC) Squadron Tornado GR4

In addition to the above there are the occasion Special Projects such as the Concorde cover produced to mark the last flight. Obviously it would be a mammoth task to produce one for every squadron that has existed, but this series aims to represent and honour some of the distinguished Squadrons and the men that served with them as well as the aircraft that flew.

Prisoner of War (POW) Series
Cover series featuring Prisoner of War camps from World War II

This short series of covers commemorates some of the POW Camps from World War II that Allied Airmen found themselves residing in. It is quite hard to portray a prison camp as a piece of artwork, but Ross Wardle has done a superb job in capturing the concept. The first in the series features Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape whilst Stalag Luft I and Oflag IV better known as Colditz Castle also feature in the series.

Hand Signed Photographs
Photograph series all hand signed certified limited editions

For a over a decade we have reproduced Photographs which are individually hand signed by various military personnel. All signatures are 100% genuinely handsigned with no photocopies or pre-prints. The Photographs are professionally reproduced on photographic paper with an elongated lower border to allow the signer to place their signature. Many of the photos come with a biographical card giving a short career history. Each photo is numbered on reverse and certified. The following series have so far been produced:
