Dispatch and Delivery Information

Payment Clearance

For payment methods other than Paypal INSTANT payments and UK Postal Orders, there is a delay required to allow the payment to clear into our bank or Paypal account. No items will be dispatched until we are satisfied that payment has successfully cleared. UK cheques will not successfully clear until 7 working days have elapsed following the paying in date. When you see a 'Payment Received' email, that indicates that we have received your payment through the post and it has been presented to our bank. Paypal payments that are not funded from a credit or debit card (eg e-cheques) usually take approximately 7 working days to clear, although this time does sometimes vary.

Addressing & Undelivered Items

Please note that it is the customers responsibility to provide the correct mailing address, whether that address is stored in eBay, Paypal or communicated to us by different means. We can not and will not accept responsibility, resend items or refund monies for items that have been dispatched to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

Where an item is returned to us as undelivered due to either an incorrect address submitted by the customer, delivery refused or where an item was held at the local sorting office but the customer failed to collect, we will require payment equal to the standard delivery charge in order for the item to be resent.

For items paid for via Paypal, we will only ship to the Paypal registered address.

Delivery Services

For some of our items we provide the option of two UK services and two overseas services. The cheaper options (UK First Class and Overseas Airmail) are a lower price because THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY FORM OF TRACKING INFORMATION. The more expensive services (UK First Class Recorded and Overseas International Signed For) do have very basic tracking information associated with them. This tracking information is more suited to postal insurance services than for ascertaining the exact location of the package.

To check the status of an item sent Recorded/Signed For, visit www.royalmail.com and enter the 13 digit reference number, that we can supply upon request, in the 'Track & Trace' section.

Posting & Delivery Times

Our posting days are Monday to Friday. We do not post on Saturdays, Sundays or UK Bank Holidays.

The table below contains delivery time estimates. Please note that the following times are issued as a guide only as although we make every effort to dispatch purchases as quickly as possible, we cannot be held responsible for delays incurred by the carrier. Throughout our trading period on eBay we have known similar items to similar destinations take a variety of times to arrive. There are also many factors that can affect overseas delivery times including, but not restricted to, industrial actions, natural phenomena (eg. flooding, earthquakes etc.), increased security and customs examination backlogs.

Lost & Missing Items

We can submit a compensation claim and re-submit items only after the carriers stated time period has elapsed (see below). Please note that in these circumstances the intended recipient is often contacted by the postal services involved, to help them ascertain which stage of the delivery process was responsible for the package going astray and to help avoid fraudulent claims.

For items that have gone missing where the customer has chosen not to have the Recorded/Signed For delivery service, then we will only reimburse for a missing item after the previously mentioned time has elapsed. If the customer requests a second attempt at delivery then this must be via a registered post service (e.g. 'International Signed For' overseas or 'Recorded Delivery' UK) and payment will be required equal to the registered post price quoted for that item in the listing.

PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL SORTING OFFICE THAT YOUR PARCEL IS NOT BEING HELD THERE - A SURPRISING NUMBER OF PACKAGES ARE OFTEN FOUND THERE IF THERE WAS NO-ONE AVAILABLE TO ACCEPT DELIVERY AND YOUR NOTIFICATION CARD FROM THE POSTAL SERVICE CAN EASILY BE OVERLOOKED
