Lingerie is delicate and therefore requires some extra thought and careful handling when storing, using, and cleaning these items.
Taking caring of your lingerie properly will help to ensure it’s longevity and allow you to enjoy it in the future for many years to come.
To wash your lingerie, we recommend hand-washing with gentle detergent. Be sure to rinse your lingerie completely to rid it of any soap residue. Try to always drip dry your lingerie, air, or dry on a flat towel. Never attempt to put your lingerie in the dryer as this could cause it to shrink or worse. You may use careful steaming to help remove any wrinkles your lingerie may have, but be very careful when attempting this.
Gentle detergents protect the color of the lingerie from bleeding or fading away. There are a wide variety of detergents to choose from, carefully check the detergent bottle label to make sure you are using a detergent that is not harsh and can cause damage to your lingerie.
Lingerie should be washed very carefully in cold water; and it should not be pulled, rubbed or scrubbed too roughly. Washing lace or ribbon too harshly will cause it to tear.
For best results, always try to dry your lingerie in the open, to help maintain the quality of the material. Air drying is best for most delicate clothing as machine dryers can damage the elastic, pads, and straps.
