Fruit Machine FAQs
Please note that you need to be at least 18 years old to buy and own a fruit machine and they are for home use only.
Are the fruit machines fully working and in good condition?
Yes. Every fruit machine we sell has been fully serviced and needs to pass our 30 point checklist before we offer for it for sale. All our fruit machines are in a good saleable condition. Being ex-rental fruit machines they will have an odd scratch & scuff but nothing serious.
Can I put one in my cafe / takeaway?
Definitely not!!. You can only site a fruit machine in a licenced premises eg. pub or club. You cannot site a fruit machine in a cafe, takeaway, taxi office, work place etc.
A club machine can only be sited in a members club and a pub machine in a pub or club. If in any doubt please ring me 07810 493581.
Do I need a licence to have a fruit machine in my home?
No. You are free to use a fruit machine in your own home as long as it is for your own personal use and you do not let your mates etc. use the machine.
For commercial use you do need the relevant licences. Go to www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk for further details.
Do I get the keys to the fruit machine?
Yes.All our fruit machines are sold complete with all keys including a refill key.Also included is a new power lead so the fruit machine is ready to plug in & play.
How can I pay?
You have 3 choices. 1) You can pay direct through the ebay using Paypal. 2) You can ring 07810 493581 and pay using your credit / debit card or 3) You can call in person and pay with cash.
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
Delivery is £65 to most of England. Scotland is £105. We do not deliver to the Highlands, Cornwall, Devon, Wales and Pembrokeshire. Delivery is usually with 14 working days of payment. If you are in the more remote areas this could take longer. Please email if you are unsure.
Can I collect the fruit machine myself?
You are welcome to collect from our depot. We are available for collection Monday - Thursday 10am / 3pm.
Please make sure your vehicle is suitable. Ideally the fruit machines are best stood up but will lay down if neccessary. They will not fit on a roofrack or hang out the boot of a hatchback.
Is the fruit machine easy to set up once I receive it?
Yes they are simply a matter of plug in and play.You should "float" the fruit machine up with pound coins,the amount dependant on what fruit machine ie.£250 jackpot machine - £350 float. / £25 jackpot machine - £125 float.
This isn't really necessary though because you can play the fruit machine using pound coins and just don't win for a few days. You will be suprised at how quickly the float will build up.

Does the fruit machine come with instructions?
On delivery or collection you will be shown how to use your machine. Most fruit machines come with basic instructions and some come with complete instruction manuals. If you ever have any problems or need to know anything about the fruit machine then just phone us on our fruit machine help line 07810 493591 and we will guide you through it.
Is there any warranty on the fruit machine?
Yes the fruit machine comes with a 30 day back to base warranty.This means that within 30 days of purchase your fruit machine does develop a fault then you can bring the machine back to our depot in Leeds and we will repair, replace or refund.
In reality most of the machines can be fixed over the phone and we just mail out replacement parts,nobody has yet had to bring a machine back to us.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
