Warranty Policy & Returns

Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all products and services carry a 120 day warranty(covered by Apple4Less) starting at the date of purchase. Within the first 60 days of the date of purchase, an item may be returned for refund or replacement. After the initial 60 days, a defective item can only be exchanged for the same item.

Defective items are classified as items that mechanically fail. Items that fail as a result of user error are not covered by Warranty. User error is classified as damage induced by the user as a result of the user dropping, spilling, or in some way altering the original state of the product. Cosmetic issues are not covered where the item is returned after a period of seven days. *Also note that Opened software cannot be returned.

Shipping Costs will not be reimbursed, where an item has been purchased in error and is returned. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to returns under the following circumstances:

  • A part is returned and is tested to be fully functional, free from defects.
  • The customer ordered the incorrect part
  • The customer could not perform the installation of the ordered part.

If a returned item is found to be defective then a refund will be issued for the order. Apple4less will only reimburse shipping costs to the maximum of the original shipping costs from Ireland. Under no circumstance will international shipping fees or custom fees be reimbursed.

Refurbished/Used Unit Sales

Damaged Packages

Refurbished items will carry a 3 month warranty against manufacturer’s defects. This warranty covers components that mechanically fail. Items that fail as a result of user error are not covered by Warranty. User error is classified as damage induced by the user as a result of the user dropping, spilling, or in some way altering the original state of the product. Cosmetic issues are not covered where the item is returned after a period of seven days.

If an item is received in a damaged condition, Apple4less must be notified within 7 business days of the receipt of the package. Apple4less cannot be held responsible for damage to items that are not reported to us within 7 business days of the receipt of the package. If an item is received and it is damaged, ALL packaging must be kept with the item. Without the packaging we will not be able to file a claim or replace or repair the goods. Photographic evidence may be required to demonstrate the condition of the item received.

Broken Glass Policy

LCD Dead Pixel Policy

Any damage to a component containing glass must be communicated to us within 7 days of receiving the product. Any product that has a glass component that is reported as damaged after a period of 7 days from receipt will be considered outside our warranty period.

LCDs purchased from Apple4less that have one dead pixel are not considered as defective under the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Should the customer request a replacement LCD for one dead pixel, an exchange will be arranged, however no shipping charges will be reimbursed. Two or more dead pixels will be considered as manufacturer defect.
