Do you have a Part Exchange?
When selling our vehicles on ebay, we are often asked if we will take a part exchange. As traders, this is something that in most cases, we are able to do.
What do we need from you?
In order to take a car in part exchange, we need to know that your car is HPI checked, as well as national mileage checked. These checks determine whether or not a vehicle has been in a serious accident, or if the mileage stated is registered as correct. If you would like to put your car in as part exchange against a vehicle we are selling, then you need to supply us with the registration of your vehicle, the correct mileage and a FULL description. This would include:
Condition of the body, i.e. bumps, scratches, stone chips or dimples
Conditon of wheels: any scratches, marks, flaking etc.
Condition of interior: any rips, cigarette burns, smoked in etc.
Condition of windows: any stone chips
As well as the full spec of the vehicle and service history (stamps)
If you would like us to consider your vehicle as a PX, you will need to call us on our contact number below to arrange the HPI check and National mileage check which will cost £9.00 (normal cost £25.00). We can take this payment over the phone by debit card (small charge for credit cards)
Then What?
If all of the necessary checks have been made, and an agreement reached on your part ex, then we will be able to deduct the price of the part ex from the final figure. However, this process may vary. If this is done by 'buy it now', the process will be straight forward. If done by an auction,the price we can give for the PX may be slightly lower as you will probably be getting a better car at a bargain price!
