IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Terms and Conditions
If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, you must notify us within seven days of receipt, if it is our fault we will then arrange to replace the item within the usual timescales as indicated in the terms of delivery. For items returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred - including original shipping costs incurred by us. We take no responsibility for items purchased 'in error' by the purchaser.
Silverline Products (Not Power Tools): Silverline guarantee these products to be free of defects in material & workmanship forever. Any defective product returned, with original receipt, will be repaired or refunded at their discretion. Return to: Silverline Tools Ltd. PO Box 2988, Yeovil BA20 1WU. They do not refund carriage. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, modification, accident or fair wear and tear. Your statutory rights are not affected. Non Silverline Products:
Hand Tools: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months from the invoice date. Certain tools have consumable parts which are not included in the guarantee, but generally replacement parts for these are available and may be purchased from us.
Power Tools & Air Tools: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months from the invoice date.
All other products: are covered by a return to base guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship (not fair wear and tear) for twelve months from the invoice date.
We do not normally give cash refunds, unless at our own discretion or within 7 days of the item being returned in it's original packaging. If we cannot repair your item we will replace it with an item of equal or greater specification.
In order to process your warranty claim we will require a copy of your invoice which will act as your receipt of purchase.
You will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
Your Item will be shipped within the time scale depicted on the individual listing following receipt of cleared funds.
We post out three times a week, Monday, Wednesday & Friday. We have no ability to make the Post Office deliver your parcel any faster than the postal service you have selected.
Please advise us if you wish to upgrade your postage, add insurance or to request a combined postage discount (limited discount).
We are a retail business and work Mon - Fri 8.30am - 6pm and Sat 8am - 12.30 pm. Also, we do not work Bank Holidays.
Please be advised that we will endeavour to answer your questions as soon as possible, but we can only answer them during working hours.
If you encounter any problems with the product or service that you receive, please contact us prior to leaving feedback so that we are allowed an opportunity to resolve the situation.
Please Note: If your item is returned to us we will charge a redelivery fee to mail your item back out to you for redelivery.
Please opt for recorded delivery if you wish to track and trace your item.
Our postal charges reflect the cost of not only post costs but also time and packaging materials and services used.
Some larger items are dispatched out via a courier service, if your item is not being dispatched out to a UK mainland address, please contact us before purchase as the delivery charge given will be subject to an extra fee.
We do not ship our products overseas, we are a UK only business.
We are a mail order company and do not allow collection in person.
