Here's Why We're Proud To Sell Oregon Blades
OEM blades are made to the specifications that the particular manufacturer requests. Usually those specs are based on costs and the quality level that the OEM prefers. The hardness of the OEM blades can vary greatly. Some examples of blade hardness are as follows:
- John Deere, Snapper, the old Grasshopper, and Dixon blades may be made to R40 (Rockwell Hardness 40).
- Blades made by the OEM's for Exmark, Excel Hustler, Scag, the new Grasshopper, Dixie Chopper, and Bad Boy might be R44 blades.
ALL blades manufactured by Oregon come from the factory at R50 hardness. This is the hardest blade that can be manufactured according to government regulations. The blades that Oregon manufactures for their OEM business are only sold to the OEM's. When you buy a blade from our store, it is an R50 blade. Even the MTD, AYP, and Sears aftermarket blades are made to R50.
All blades from Oregon are computer straightened and painted.
Oregon also has the options of Gator blades, 3-in-1 Gator blades, the hard-faced Fusion blades, and the thicker Magnum blades for commercial applications.
Simply put, the Oregon blade is the best blade on the market for any application. We're happy to offer you the highest quality blades at the best prices on the market. |
