Animal Care, Lancaster, England, was formed in 1978 by a small number of dedicated people who looked after stray dogs and cats in their own homes. Over a period of time, kennels were rented and the number of animals increased.
In 1987, Blea Tarn Kennels were acquired and then refurbished to accommodate 25 dogs, 24 cats and a large variety of other animals. The kennels were officially opened on the 19th March 1988.

Every item you see for sale by us has been donated to us by members of the public who support our charity. All profit earned by us goes directly to the funding of the charity and therefore the wellfare of the animals we help.
