Shipping Information

Unless stated in the auction listing, we ship to UK ONLY!

Non Mainland UK addresses may incur higher charges on items that are too big for normal post. Depending on weight, we will send out goods either by Royal Mail Standard 1st or 2nd Class Recorded delivery, or by 48 hour insured courier. If you require next day guaranteed delivery by Royal Mail for items we would normally post by 1st or 2nd class recorded delivery then please ask us. This will of course, incur an extra charge.

For orders placed by 1pm Monday - Friday, we will endeavour to dispatch the same day. For orders placed after 1pm Friday, or at any time on Saturday, goods will be dispatched the following Monday (not including Bank Holidays). Delivery should take no more than two working days (i.e. Monday -Friday) unless you live in a remote area where courier deliveries are not made daily. Deliveries do not take place on Saturdays or Sundays. If goods are not received within the described timescale, please telephone us. Courier deliveries will require a recipient's signature. If the courier cannot get a reply from the address you have requested us to send to, they will leave a card in the letterbox indicating that they have tried to deliver, which will also contain instructions to phone their local depot to indicate a suitable day for delivery, or inviting you to collect the package yourself from your local depot. If they do not hear from you, they will try a further two (2) attempts to make delivery. If they still fail to get an answer, your parcel will be returned to us and you will incur an additional charge for re-delivery. On occasion, it has been known for some customers to request that we instruct the courier to leave their parcel outside an address without obtaining a signature. WE WILL NOT DO THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SO PLEASE DON'T ASK!

If your item has been sent via recorded post and is delayed for reasons beyond our control, the Royal Mail will not consider the item lost until 15 WORKING DAYS have passed since date of posting. Therefore, we are unable to launch a claim for failed delivery until that time period has passed. Should your item turn out to be lost, we will of course replace it. If the Royal Mail attempt to deliver a recorded item and do not receive a reply from your address, they will leave a card in your letterbox informing you that they have attempted delivery and have returned your parcel to your nearest depot. The onus will then be on you to collect the parcel which they will keep for a limited period of time. If you do not collect your parcel within the time period they will return the parcel to us. In this situation, you will incur an additional charge for re-delivery.

WE REPEAT: If your item is returned to us because you are not in to receive it, we will charge for re-delivery! We can deliver to a work address or relatives address if this is more convenient. Please make sure you supply the correct delivery information with your order as we will not be held liable for errors caused by incorrect/mis-spelt address information!

Courier Delivery Caveats

Our courier prices are for Mainland UK addresses only. If you live on an Island location then delivery will cost you more. If we have not stated a non-Mainland UK courier cost in our listing then you must contact us first before commiting to buy. Some areas of Scotland will incur a £7.00 surcharge. These areas include the postcodes: FK 17-99, G 83, IV 1-28, IV 33-39, KW (Mainland only), PA 21-33, PA 35-40, PH 18-26, PH 30, PH 31-41. If you require delivery to a Scottish Island location please contact us first for a shipping quote before you commit to buy.

Postage & Packaging

Buyer Pays Shipping unless "Free Delivery" stated on item listing. We endeavour to pack all our items in a professional manner substantial enough to withstand most conditions experienced by normal aprcel delivery. However, despite our best efforts, we cannot predict or be held liable for extreme transit conditions that are beyond our control. If an item is damaged in transit we will always seek to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of the customer.

Returns Policy

You can return the product to us up to 7 (seven) days after receipt. You must inform us within this time period of your intention to return your goods either by emailing us at info@adcdrums.co.uk or telephoning us on 0151 227 3271. You must provide proof of purchase. Your product must be in a complete and unused state without any marks. The item should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. The goods must be unopened and in perfect re-saleable condition. If there is damage to external and\or internal packaging, the customer will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. Any extra "freebies" received with the product (such as when we throw in a pair of sticks etc free of charge) must also be returned. You (the customer) must bear all costs incurred in returning the item to ADC Drums.

We will not cancel your purchase when:

  • You return your product without proof of purchase.
  • The goods were a special \ custom order to your exacting requirements.

If a problem occurs with a product and you believe the product to be deemed as "faulty", we will deal with the situation as quickly as possible and endeavour to provide a swift resolution. If you believe a product to be faulty then you must inform us within 24 hours of receiving the item. In such an event, we will reqiuire you to return the item to us via a recorded delivery service, preferably with insurance against loss. The item should also be adequately packed to help prevent further damage. If you do not do this and your returned item is lost in transit, then we will be unable to assist you with your claim. Any faulty items returned to us will be examined and in some cases, returned to the manufacturer for further inspection. Should an item be deemed to be faulty, we will supply you with a replacement and reimburse your costs for returning the item to us.

With the exception of "consumable" items (drumsticks, drum skins, guitar strings), most goods have a 12 month manufacturers guarantee against faulty materials, defects or workmanship. As a consumer, your statutory rights mean that you have the right to pursue a problem with faulty goods with us (the retailer) and\or the manufacturer. If we are unable to provide you with an exchange or replacement (i.e. discontinued item or out of stock with supplier) and you do not wish to receive a refund, we will offer to pursue the manufacturer on your behalf in order to rectify the problem with the product. In order to qualify for a refund or exchange, the product must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

This guarantee does not cover consumable items (e.g. drum-sticks, heads, strings etc) faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear, unless there is visible evidence of manufacturing fault.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
